Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic-minded Business Developer to join our landscaping business. As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding our client base, and identifying new market opportunities. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies that enhance our competitive position and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Responsibilities:
  1. Business Development Strategy:
    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscape.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and achieve revenue targets.
    • Identify new market segments, niches, or geographic areas for expansion.
    • Collaborate with the management team to define business goals, objectives, and strategies.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in business development or sales, preferably in the landscaping or related industry. (landscaping or related industry preferred such as property management, facilities products and services, janitorial, uniform, waste, equipment rental, HR and accounting services, asphalt and concrete, beverage services, business services, construction equipment sales, elevator, first aid and fire protection services, flooring and roofing, food services, freight sales and logistics, furniture rental, packing room suppliers, playground equipment company, roofing, safety and industrial supplies, shade structures, shredding and printing services, workplace supplies, etc)
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain client relationships.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical abilities to identify market opportunities and develop effective strategies.
  • Solid understanding of landscaping principles, materials, and practices.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Must have a valid driver's license
