Business Development Coordinator

Position Summary

The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for identifying, tracking, and helping secure new commercial construction projects for Berks Construction Group to bid on. This position supports business development by researching potential projects, following up on leads, maintaining client relationships, and keeping project information accurate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research new commercial construction projects.
  • Gather project information needed to determine whether the company should pursue a bid.
  • Contact clients, owners, developers, architects, property managers, and industry contacts regarding upcoming projects.
  • Follow up on project leads, referrals, and potential projects.
  • Track project status, important dates, communication notes, and next steps.
  • Maintain accurate client, contact, project, and communication records in Salesforce and other company systems.
  • Support the business development team with outreach, reporting, and project tracking.

Qualifications

  • Experience in business development, sales, customer service, call center, construction coordination, or a related role.
  • Strong phone skills and professional communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Sales, relationship-building, or lead-generation experience preferred.
