Job description

Job Summary:
The Business Development Coordinator will support the execution, optimization, and scalability of commercial processes, systems, and data infrastructure to drive revenue growth and strengthen pipeline performance. This role is responsible for translating business development objectives into efficient workflows, actionable insights, and measurable commercial outcomes.
Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, IT, Technical, Supply Chain teams, the Business Development Coordinator will support lead generation, pipeline development, and customer engagement initiatives while ensuring data integrity across platforms. This individual will identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, enhance reporting visibility, and enable data-driven decision-making to accelerate growth.
This role plays a critical part in optimizing lead management processes, supporting go-to-market execution, and strengthening alignment between sales strategy and execution.
This is a remote role with travel up to 10%.
Essential Job Functions:
CRM Management
  • Maintain and optimize the CRM platform and related commercial tools to support pipeline management and sales effectiveness
  • Ensure seamless data flow and system integration between Marketing, Sales, Technical and other functions
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with internal and external resources for solutions
  • Evaluate and recommend tools to enhance business development capabilities and team productivity

Pipeline Development & Process Optimization
  • Maintain data accuracy, quality, and completeness within CRM
  • Support data governance standards and best practices across customer and prosect data
  • Manage segmentation, account targeting, and list development strategies
  • Ensure compliance with internal data policies and external regulations

Lead Management & Sales Enablement
  • Responsible for 100% lead qualification, scoring, routing, and tracking processes
  • Collaborate closely with Sales to align on target markets and accounts
  • Monitor pipeline progression and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates
  • Enable Sales with accurate data, insights, and tools to drive opportunity development

Customer & Market Engagement Support
  • Assist in coordinating outreach efforts, meetings, and follow-ups with prospective customers
  • Support go-to-market initiatives including new product launches and market expansion efforts
  • Assist in management of house accounts and support account development to ensure consistent engagement and growth

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, IT, Technical, Supply Chain, and other departments to align systems, processes, and reporting
  • Support onboarding and training of team members on CRM and business development processes

Reporting & Analytics
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue contribution
  • Analyze sales and pipeline data to generate insights and actionable recommendations
  • Provide regular updates on business development performance to stakeholders
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve commercial effectiveness

Continuous Improvement
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements within the CRM
  • Stay current on business development tools, sales enablement best practices, and market trends
  • Promote a culture of accountability, data-driven decisions, and continuous improvement

Skills and Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or related field
  • 3+ years experience in business development, sales operations, or CRM management
  • Strong experience with CRM platforms and commercial systems (e.g. HubSpot or Salesforce)
  • Proficient in standard business and marketing tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and others)
  • Understanding of lead management and sales processes, including qualification, routing, and pipeline tracking
  • Proficiency in campaign execution, including email marketing, lead nurturing, and workflow automation
  • Advanced analytical and reporting skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Solid understanding of lead management processes, including lead scoring, routing, and lifecycle optimization
  • Knowledge of data governance, database management, and data hygiene best practices
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset with strong project management skills and attention to detail

Physical Demands:
This role is primarily sedentary in nature. Sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computing equipment. The employee frequently is required to talk and to hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
