Position Overview


We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated Business Development Executive who is passionate about building relationships, creating new opportunities, and driving business growth. This role is focused on developing new client partnerships, expanding strategic accounts, opening doors within life science organizations, and introducing the full range of Compass consulting and staffing solutions.


What You'll Do


  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device organizations.
  • Build relationships with hiring managers, HR, Talent Acquisition, Directors, Vice Presidents, and C-suite executives.
  • Schedule qualified meetings through strategic outreach, networking, referrals, conferences, LinkedIn, and business development campaigns.
  • Expand existing client partnerships by identifying new hiring needs, developing relationships with additional decision makers, and introducing the full range of Compass staffing and consulting solutions.
  • Partner closely with recruiting to deliver exceptional talent and outstanding client experiences.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline, CRM activity, and accurate forecasting.
  • Represent Compass at networking events, conferences, and client meetings.

  • Develop a consistent pipeline of qualified life sciences opportunities.
  • Secure new meetings with prospective clients each month.
  • Generate opportunities across Direct Hire, Contract Consulting, Payroll Services, SOW, and Fractional Executive solutions.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
