Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading staffing and workforce solutions organization in the Downers Grove, IL area, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team! This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships, developing new business, and driving market growth.
Business Development Manager Job Summary:
• Pay: $66,000 - $83,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Office-based with approximately 60-70% field time
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve market growth objectives
• Generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and prospecting activities
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying workforce solutions
• Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and discovery discussions
• Negotiate pricing and service agreements while maintaining profitability goals
• Collaborate with recruiting and operations teams to ensure successful service delivery
• Participate in community events and networking opportunities to expand market presence
• Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline reporting
Business Development Manager Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of staffing industry sales experience or related business development experience
