We are seeking a Marketing & Development Manager, Bluebonnet Life to be the "performance driver" of the promotion and sale of Bluebonnet Life (BBL) products. Partnering with the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Sales Team and Certified Agents, this Manager provides education, training, performance reporting and marketing plans to ensure attainment of sales and retention goals.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide education and training regarding BBL products to BCBSMS Sales Team and Certified Agents to promote and drive sales performance.

  • Build and maintain relationships with agent/broker partners and key stakeholders involved with Delta Dental, VSP and Swiss Re.

  • Develop sales forecasts and provide reports on sales performance, addressing barriers and identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Report changes in the market, new products, updates or issues to management, sales or legal operations.

Job-Specific Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.

  • Practical experience in insurance sales.

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office (primarily Word and Excel).

  • Confident communicator with the ability to listen actively, deliver confident, engaging presentations and negotiate with diplomacy.

  • Ability to convey information clearly, accurately and professionally in written format that engages and informs.

  • Ability to focus on the small aspects of a task or project to ensure they are completed with accuracy and thoroughness.
