Job description

The Role

We are seeking an established business-development professional who can bring credible market access, create new opportunities, and close profitable project work. What You Will Do

  • Lead discovery and site visits, qualify project fit, and capture the information required for safe, executable scoping.
  • Partner with estimating and operations to develop compelling, profitable proposals.
  • Present, negotiate, and close work, then grow repeat and cross-service relationships.
  • Maintain accurate CRM pipeline, forecast, and next-step discipline.
  • Represent Bormann professionally with manufacturers, facility leaders, contractors, equipment partners, and commercial customers.

What You Bring

  • A documented record of personally generating relevant B2B project or industrial-service revenue.
  • Established customer or referral relationships that are relevant to Bormann and can be used lawfully.
  • Experience in rigging, machinery moving, crane services, industrial contracting, equipment rental, material handling, facilities services, commercial relocation, specialized logistics, or a closely related field.
  • Commercial judgment, margin discipline, and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and operating teams.
  • The drive to prospect, the credibility to lead executive and site-level conversations, and the discipline to manage a complex pipeline.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently across New England.

Compensation and Support

  • $70,000 to $90,000 base salary, based on demonstrated experience and market evidence.
  • Uncapped commission on credited realized gross profit, with target total cash of approximately $155,000 to $195,000 at plan and meaningful upside for exceptional performance above $225,000.
  • A defined ramp arrangement, mileage reimbursement or vehicle allowance, phone, laptop, and company benefits.
  • Hands-on support from Bormann estimating, operations, and leadership.

Company Description

Our Industrial Services division handles industrial rigging, machinery moving and installation, plant and facility relocation, and warehousing as one accountable team, with in-house crews, a 66,000-square-foot Hudson, New Hampshire facility, hydraulic gantry and jacking systems, a full forklift fleet, and coordinated crane services through partners. Under renewed ownership, we are investing in growth, and we are hiring a senior seller to lead our rigging and machinery-moving business.
