Our team of professionals have decades of experience in the Clean & TV, Inspection, Rehabilitation and Cross Bore markets. We have a current opening for a Business Development Manager. This personwill be responsible for driving business growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities within the cross bore detection, sewer cleaning, inspection, televising, and related underground infrastructure service spaces.

EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with large gas utility providers, water/sewer municipalities, contractors, engineers, and facility managers
  • Maximize relationships with existing clients by uncovering new needs, expanding current services and establishing long-term relationships
  • Collaborate with other senior leaders to align sales strategies with overall company objectives
  • Drive growth through relentless client focus by assisting with building a forward-looking growth strategy
  • Identify new service areas and market segments to diversify offerings and expand revenue streams
  • Drive new market penetration strategy and execution ownership
  • Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and bid opportunities, preparing proposals in coordination with estimating and operations teams
  • Conduct client presentations and attend networking events, trade shows, and industry meetings to promote services
  • Collaborate with operations and project managers to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes that impact underground infrastructure services and other adjacent markets
  • Track sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue growth using CRM tools
  • Generate regular reports on business development, sales outcomes, and emerging market trends, providing forecasts to senior leadership
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's overall business strategy

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience, preferably in gas distribution and/or transmission, sewer, water, construction, or environmental services
  • History and current relevant relationships with existing or potential clients is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with proven ability to work independently under minimal instruction
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Valid driver's license; willingness to travel within the continental United States up to 75% of the time
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills, high level of accuracy and be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must have high level of confidentiality and a good understanding of general business practices
  • Results-oriented with strong business acumen
  • Ability to establish credibility and trust with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must be able to travel throughout the week, sometimes on short notice.
