Job description

Combatant Commands Capture Professional

The Opportunity:

Drives capture of business development opportunities across DoW Combatant Commands including shaping, proposal, contract start-up, and execution. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and mentors or supervises employees in both company and technical competencies.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop capture artifacts such as capture plans, call plans, competitor analysis, and preliminary win strategies.
  • Support customer engagement efforts, including shaping outreach, gathering customer insights, and participating in customer meetings alongside account leadership.
  • Develop win themes, discriminators, and teaming strategies.
  • Partner with solution architects and SMEs to translate customer needs into viable technical and management approaches.
  • Support the development of pricing strategies with guidance from pricing and finance teams.
  • Coordinate and lead gate reviews, status briefings, action tracking, and documentation needed throughout the capture lifecycle.
  • Assist in identifying potential teammates and subcontractors and help manage teaming documentation.
  • Facilitate the transition from capture to proposal, ensuring alignment with win strategy and customer priorities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of capture processes, tools, and best practices.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in capture management or business development within the defense or security domains
  • Experience with DoD acquisition processes, customer missions, and the federal procurement environment, including FAR and DFARS
  • Experience in supporting or contributing to proposals or capture efforts
  • Experience with preparing capture materials or customer engagement documents
  • Ability to analyze customer data, competitor information, and market trends
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent pursuits and thrive in a fast paced and high stakes environment
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
