Talon Hiring Solutions is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join our growing team in the Birmingham, AL area. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in business development, outside sales or account management within the staffing industry, with a proven ability to sell staffing and workforce solutions. This individual will play a key role in expanding our client base, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth through new and existing business opportunities.

What you will do:

  • Identify, target, and acquire new business opportunities within key industries including Engineering, IT, Accounting & Finance, and other professional disciplines.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new client relationships and expand existing accounts.
  • Conduct client meetings to understand hiring challenges and present customized staffing solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal recruiting teams to ensure client needs are met with high-quality candidates and timely delivery.
  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and acting as a trusted business partner.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of service in alignment with company goals and standards.
  • Track and report business development activities using CRM tools, maintaining accurate records of leads, opportunities, and outcomes.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and staffing industry developments to identify opportunities for growth.

What you will bring:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the staffing or recruiting industry required.
  • Proven success in selling staffing solutions to small, mid-sized, and large organizations.
