Position Title: Business Development & Account Manager (Travel Required 75-100%)

Location: Houston, TX

Department: Outside Sales

Reports To: VP Sales & Marketing


Job Summary: Piping Technology & Products, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Development & Account Manager. This is a full-time, salaried, on-site/travel position that requires 75- 100% travel (US & internationally). This position will support the company's goals for growth and sustainability. This role requires a minimum of 2 years sales experience. Manufacturing sales experience preferred. B2B Sales & Pipe Support experience is a plus. Engineering experience preferred. Paid training. Sales incentives and bonuses are in addition to the base salary for this position if the team meets the sales’ goals. The right candidate will excel in a results-driven, fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys big challenges and teamwork. Good driving record, current driver’s license, and reliable transportation required. Must be eligible to get a passport for international travel and OSHA clearance for entry into plants. All work-related travel is covered 100%.


Key Responsibilities

? Fully Paid Product Training on All PTP Products. Specifically: Pipe Supports, Expansion Joints, & Bellows. We set you up for complete success. This is not a commission-based sales position. You are paid for everything you work for. Makes our company super unique and our sales team successful.

? Account Management: Oversee customer accounts daily. Responsible for contract signings through shipment/delivery. ? Full Cycle Sales Management: Identify sales opportunities, follow up on previous sales, and continuously develop sales relationships with customers, new and old.

? Business Development: Create and implement business development ideas with the entire sales team. Visit your customers in person as much as possible. Make plans to keep engaged. This includes business lunches, breakfasts, and being involved with their community involvement initiatives (golf tournaments, skeet shooting, fundraisers, etc.)

? Cross-selling: Develop and use cross-selling skills to assist customers in addressing all of their needs.

? Lunch & Learns: Participate in building presentations and other sales materials that you will deliver to customers about company products.

? Shop Tours: Provide customers with real-time, on-site shop tours to show them the ins and outs of how we manufacture their products.

? Quote Follow-Up: Consistently participate in the team’s management of quotes.

? Customer Service: Maintain the highest degree of customer service to ensure customer satisfaction. A happy customer is a returning customer. Be a problem-solver; resolve any issues.

? Travel Planning & Development: Strategically plan all travel in order to visit as many customers or potential customers as possible, all in one trip. Never leave home without your sales products! Stay organized and pack properly. Your Sales Administrative Coordinator works directly with you to coordinate all of your sales materials.

? Meeting & Exceeding Sales Goals: Partner with your team to work together to meet and exceed all set sales goals.

? Cold Calling: Must be comfortable with making cold calls to assist customers with their quotes when working in the office.

Requirements:

Qualifications

? A minimum of 2 years of industrial or manufacturing sales experience is preferred. ? B2B Sales experience selling to small and large EPC firms preferred.

? Ability to work on-site in Houston 25% - 50%

? Good driving record. Valid Driver’s License. Reliable transportation. Ability to get a passport & OSHA card when ready.

? Engineering degree/STEM degree if interested in a Technical Sales position ? Ability to travel 75-100% when training is complete. ? Engineering or technical experience is preferred but not required.
