About You:
 
Versana is looking for an individual who has Syndicated Lending market experience and is passionate about building innovative products. As a loan expert Business Analyst, you will help shape the product roadmap and execute on product strategy.  You will gain hands-on experience in a forward-thinking startup environment by analysing user and market data, documenting requirements, prioritize features, collaborate across teams and advise on the design of the system. This role will report directly to one of our Product Managers and play an integral role in growing Versana's market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Become the SME in the loan syndication market and the product.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Specialists on product vision and execute on plan to achieve success.
  • With a user-focused mind-set, document requirements, acceptance criteria and detailed test cases for user stories.
  • Build, maintain and prioritize new features as well as the backlog to fulfil the product vision.
  • Participate in scrum stand-ups, planning, refinements, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Partner with the UX team to create wireframes and prototypes and rapidly iterate based on feedback.
  • Serve as a link between business and technology to ensure project goals align with business objectives.
  • Ensure final delivery meets requirements.
  • Monitor product usage and analytics and analyse trends and patterns for product enhancements.
  • Prepare internal and external documentation, e.g. Release Notes, User Guides, Product Blogs, FAQs, etc., enabling Client Support, Client Engagement and Sales Teams on new feature literature, training and aid in troubleshooting issues.
  • Provide product demonstrations to both internal teams and clients/prospects.
Must Haves:
  • 5+ years working in a business analyst/product owner capacity.
  • Agile framework experience and strong understanding of SDLC.
  • Be inquisitive, ask questions and have a drive to learn.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, writing requirements, understanding various user personas and user story writing skills for a software product.
  • Strong organisation, documentation and communication skills, articulating ideas, requirements and planning succinctly for different audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work collaboratively across various teams such as Engineering, UX, Sales, etc.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and thrives working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
