What You Will Do:

  • Serve as a Business Analyst supporting the Platforms - ServiceNow team.

  • Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional partners to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for ServiceNow-related initiatives.

  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.

  • Support the design, implementation, and enhancement of ServiceNow solutions across the platform.

  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.

  • Analyze current-state and future-state processes to recommend efficient, scalable solutions.

  • Work closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered effectively.

  • Assist with testing activities, including test planning, execution support, and validation of delivered functionality.

  • Maintain documentation and help ensure project deliverables are aligned with business goals and technical standards.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • A MINIMUM of THREE (3) years of experience as a Business Analyst with exposure to ServiceNow.

  • Proven experience with hands on coding and scripting.

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably supporting enterprise technology or ServiceNow implementations.

  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, requirements gathering, and process documentation.

  • Experience creating user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Location: Washington DC/Metro area highly preferred due to client location - up to 25% travel to Guidehouse or client office

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Direct experience with the ServiceNow platform and related modules.

  • Familiarity with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, or other enterprise service management processes.

  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation or platform upgrade initiatives.

  • Knowledge of testing, UAT coordination, or release management processes.

  • Certification in Business Analysis, Agile, or ServiceNow-related disciplines.

**Please note: for this position, we are targeting an October start date.

The annual salary range for this position is $85,000.00-$141,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
