About the role:
As a Senior Business Architect, you will serve as a trusted consultant and product expert across new implementations and ongoing client initiatives. You will translate complex business challenges into clear, actionable requirements, ensuring that Quavo's products are configured to deliver exceptional outcomes and long-term supportability.
You will partner closely with clients, project managers, developers, and product teams to drive quality, alignment, and successful delivery. Your work directly impacts Quavo's ability to scale, innovate, and exceed client expectations
Responsibilities include:
Client & Project Leadership
  • Lead discovery and consultation sessions with clients to understand business needs and recommend industry-best practices for dispute processing.
  • Support all implementation and enhancement requests across new and existing clients.
  • Partner with project managers to ensure delivery of agreed-upon functionality within committed timeframes.

Business Architecture & Requirements Development
  • Translate business objectives into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Serve as the liaison between business teams and technical delivery resources, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Assess business and technical impacts of proposed changes across systems, processes, and downstream users.

Data Analysis & Solution Design
  • Conduct analysis on source data and mapping to target structures; collaborate with implementation developers to guide technical design.
  • Develop detailed configuration documentation tailored to client needs and industry standards.

Quality & Testing
  • Drive quality control through unit testing and functional validation.
  • Support clients through user acceptance testing by preparing scenarios, guiding test execution, and ensuring requirements are met.

Product Expertise
  • Build deep expertise in Quavo's products, solutions, and services.
  • Provide consultative insight on product capabilities and post-production considerations.

Leadership & Autonomy
  • Operate independently, demonstrating ownership, decisiveness, and accountability.
  • Mentor peers and influence cross-functional teams in high-ambiguity, fast-paced environments.

Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years as a Business Architect/Business Analyst (FinTech or related financial services experience preferred).
  • 7+ years working across the full product lifecycle; strong understanding of SDLC and supporting methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with expert proficiency in Excel, including modeling and advanced functions.
  • Experience working with SaaS platforms and understanding of SaaS delivery models.
  • Proven ability to write detailed user stories, specifications, and test cases.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Strong time management, organization, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated capability in driving results, meeting commitments, and thriving in ambiguity.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams and client organizations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SQL, Java, data models, and mapping concepts.
  • Background in data architecture or research architecture.
  • Demonstrated creativity and analytical thinking in solving complex business problems.
  • Strong consultative and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience benchmarking and applying best practices to drive continuous improvement.
