We are seeking a bus driver to drive a route. The hours would be a total of four each day. Maximum of two in the a.m. and two in the afternoon.
Qualifications:
Transport students to/from school.
Team leader - communicate information to team members
Check vehicle to ensure it is in operable condition (pre-trip, fueling, operational testing, etc.)
Must be at least 18 years of age
Obtain and maintain a valid CDL license with proper endorsement
Obtain and maintain a valid DOT physical and valid Medical Certificate, per FMCSA requirements
Pass pre-employment, subsequent agility tests, and periodic background/substance abuse screen (random and reasonable suspicion)
Register and maintain an account with the FMCSA Clearinghouse
Work well with others, including all personality types
Effective problem-solving skills
Have and use effective verbal and written communication skills
Effectively manage student behavior
Other duties as assigned by Transportation Director

$26.39 per hour (4 hrs. per day)
Nights and weekends off unless you request to drive activities
Opportunites to pick up extra assignments
You will work the student school days of the year with the pay spread out over 12 months.
