Position Summary

This position serves the students in shuttle rides to, from and around campus and the Burlington community. Adheres to all traffic laws and regulations as well as University safety standards and policies.

Class C Commercial Driver's License with Passenger endorsement preferred. Must have a valid North Carolina driver's license and be insurable by college carrier. DOT Medical Exam/certificate required. Must have excellent driving record.

Job Duties

  • Operate a 32-passenger bus in a safe and professional manner for students, faculty, and staff on a scheduled route.
  • Provide transportation services for students, faculty, staff and the community during university events or local charters.
  • Perform pre trip and post trip inspections; maintains a clean and neat bus.
