Services cover a wide range of tests, including asbestos (PLM/TEM), mold, bacteria, VOCs, allergens, Legionella, radon, lead, silica, and more.

Job Description

Eurofins Built Environment Testing is looking for a Quality Administrative Specialist to support seven Quality Assurance Managers across the US. The position is remote, however, the ideal candidate will reside near one of our laboratory locations in either Cary, NC, Chicago, IL, Pasadena, TX, Denver, CO Phoenix, AZ, Tustin, CA, Burlingame, CA, Portland, OR, Seattle, WA or San Diego, CA.

The Quality Administrative Specialist plays a key support role in maintaining and strengthening the quality framework across a network of laboratories. This position will assist multiple Laboratory Quality Managers by coordinating licensing and accreditation efforts and supporting the documentation and maintenance of Quality Management System (QMS) components. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with a strong understanding of quality systems and regulatory requirements in laboratory environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Centralize and manage all accreditation, licensing, and certification programs.
  • Maintain a master calendar and tracking system to ensure timely renewals and prevent missed deadlines.
  • Handle the application process for scope expansions, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory requirements applicable to the organization.
  • Maintain records of regulatory updates and communicate changes to relevant teams.
  • Analyze costs associated with licensing, accreditation, and compliance programs.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Provide financial reporting and insights to support budget planning for accreditation and licensing activities.
  • Develop and implement processes to reduce administrative risks related to renewals and applications.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of all certifications, licenses, and accreditations.
  • Help prepare and compile documentation for internal audits, external inspections, and management reviews.
  • Provide administrative support for QA activities.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of quality management system (QMS) documents.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field, healthcare, or quality management preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a quality, regulatory, or administrative support role, preferably in a laboratory setting.
  • Familiarity with laboratory accreditation and regulatory bodies (e.g., NVLAP, AIHA, TNI, NYDOH, CAELAP) is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and experience with document control systems.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
  • Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
Additional Information

Compensation Range: $22-$25 per hour depending on level of experience and qualifications.

Position is Remote, full-time, with possible weekends and overtime as needed.  Candidates must be available to work Monday - Friday, day shift with the flexibility to work a shift to cover various time zones.
