About this Role

FiberTel is looking for an As-Built Engineer for our Springville, UT location.

The AS-BUILT Engineer will be responsible for creating project drawings after a job is complete and note any changes that occurred during the duration of each project. Drawings will be completed through Design Review software (in house training available) and proficiency in MS office will be required. She/he will work directly with project administration and field supervisors to ensure that each varying drawing is accurate when submitted. 

Pay: $18-20, DOE

What You'll Do

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Ability to work with a team as well as individually 

  • Create a clean and accurate As-Built package in a timely manner 

  • Develop an understanding of each As-Built project type 

  • Coordinate with field supervisors and project administrators 

  • Design plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software 

  • Create and revise production drawings 

  • Import and integrate GIS and GPS data into CAD 

  • Review drawings to ensure compliance 

  • Assist in developing survey maps and layouts when necessary 

  • Inform engineers on job progress and updates 

  • Assist the Engineering department

Working Conditions: 

This job operates in both office and field environments with occasional exposure to noise and other hazards. This job routinely uses standard office equipment. Occasionally spend time outside the office when meeting clients or need to check on vehicles. 

Physical Requirements: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear; climb stairs and/or ladders. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
