Materials Manager


Next Level Partners is building a network of Materials Managers to support client engagements across a range of manufacturing and industrial environments. Our clients are specifically focused on strengthening operational performance through Lean and can vary in size, industry, and scope. These opportunities may be interim or project-based, with some engagements evolving into longer-term or permanent roles depending on the needs of the client.


This role would support planning, inventory, and material flow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ensuring materials availability, optimize inventory, and drive lean improvements across the supply chain.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead materials planning, inventory control, and production support
  • Ensure on-time material availability to meet customer demand
  • Drive inventory optimization (turns, accuracy, reduction of excess/obsolete)
  • Partner as needed with sourcing and suppliers to improve delivery and performance
  • Implement and sustain lean manufacturing tools (Kanban, pull systems, standard work)
  • Oversee warehouse and material flow to support efficient operations


Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years of materials/supply chain experience in manufacturing
  • Strong lean manufacturing / continuous improvement background (TPS, DBS, etc.)
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
