Job description

Support all departments in Building #2 with distribution of materials to the correct location once delivered to staging areas in building #2.
Ensure that all material deliveries are scanned accurately for correct inventory and material control. Work with other department material handlers to keep production moving.

  • Check material deliveries from the warehouse for accuracy.
  • Delivery material to shelters in building#2 as needed to ensure less clutter in work areas.
  • Practical problem solving in their material delivery areas.
  • Help with material deliveries for contractors working in Building #2.
  • Help fill in when department material handlers are absent.
  • Forklift qualified and proficient.
  • Good communication with area foremen to ensure material is handled and delivered correctly.
  • Ensure safety rules are followed, and a safe work environment is maintained.
  • Ensure housekeeping is completed daily.ย ย 
  • Solid knowledge of computer-based skills, Excel, Word, production schedules, etc.
  • Flexible working schedule to help meet production schedules and material deadlines.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Knowledge of basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Ability to coordinate material deliveries to production staff.
  • Ability to solve problems in a variety of standardized situations.
  • Ability to work in an ever-changing work environment
