Professionals in this role typically work for suppliers, distributors, or manufacturers and help clients—including contractors, builders, and homeowners—select and purchase items such as lumber, roofing, drywall, cement, and insulation. They provide product information, pricing, and support throughout the purchasing process, often requiring knowledge of both the construction industry and effective sales techniques.
