Job description

LEMOINE, a Great Place to Workยฎ-Certified company, is seeking a Project Manager for our Drywall Sector. Candidate must be capable of managing metal stud framing, drywall, and ceiling system projects ranging from small buildouts to work packages in excess of $5 million. Responsible for contract administration, procurement, subcontract awards, scheduling and costing, oversight of project quality and safety, staff oversight, and mentoring, all in an effort to minimize risk and to keep the focus on LEMOINE'S Foundations for Successful Execution.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Reviews all plans and specifications, including Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents
  • Reviews specifications to understand the required scope and creates RFIs as needed
  • Reviews and completes Subtab sheets to understand and clarify the scope
  • Manages staff in the construction of one or more projects with minimum annual revenues of $5 million
  • Creates agendas for and actively leads Pre-Installation meetings in accordance with the site-specific QA/QC plan
  • Responsible for contract administration, procurement, subcontract awards, scheduling and costing, project quality and safety oversight, and staff leadership
  • Monitors and updates the project schedule, logic, and sequencing as needed
  • Maintains positive Trade Partner relationships

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in Construction Management, Engineering, or related curriculum or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years related commercial construction project work experience, with 3+ years focused in Drywall project management.
  • Strong working knowledge of interior finish systems.
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, project management, estimating, and scheduling software programs (QB and OST a plus).
  • Proven skills in the areas of math, budgeting, and commitments, as well as excellent teamwork, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
