Overview

The Premium Buffet Attendant is responsible for maintaining high-quality service standards in the premium dining areas at Acrisure Arena. This position ensures an exceptional guest experience through attentive buffet service, food presentation, and facility maintenance. The role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced event environment.

This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00 and is tip eligible.

Responsibilities
  • Food Service & Presentation: Maintain buffet stations with properly displayed, fresh food items; replenish dishes and serving utensils throughout service periods
  • Guest Interaction: Provide courteous, attentive service to premium seating guests; respond promptly to requests and special needs
  • Food Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper food handling, temperature monitoring, and sanitation standards
  • Setup & Breakdown: Prepare buffet stations before events and reset areas after service completion
  • Quality Control: Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion consistency; report issues to management immediately
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and surrounding spaces; dispose of waste appropriately
  • Communication: Coordinate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service operations
  • Event Support: Assist with other arena guest services as assigned during events
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • 1+ year of food service or hospitality experience (preferred)
  • Current Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects regularly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and special events
