Marriott Long Island | Uniondale, NY
Position Summary
The Breakfast Buffet Attendant is responsible for preparing, setting up, maintaining, and replenishing the hotel's breakfast buffet while ensuring exceptional food presentation, cleanliness, and guest service. This position plays a critical role in preparing fresh buffet items, maintaining food quality standards, and supporting banquet operations as needed.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Essential Responsibilities
Breakfast Preparation
  • Prepare fresh fruit displays, cut fruit, and buffet garnishes according to hotel standards.
  • Assist with preparation of breakfast items including pastries, breads, cereals, condiments, and beverage stations.
  • Set up buffet stations before service begins.
  • Ensure all food items are prepared, displayed, and maintained according to quality standards.
  • Monitor food temperatures and follow food safety guidelines.
Buffet Operations
  • Maintain a clean, attractive, and fully stocked breakfast buffet throughout service.
  • Replenish food, beverages, utensils, plates, and condiments as needed.
