Hotel Breakfast AttendantJob OverviewJoin our positive team as a Weekend Breakfast Attendant creating a welcoming, clean and fresh environment for our great guests in the mornings. In this role, you will ensure that the guest breakfast complimentary buffet is stocked and appealing. The Breakfast area and kitchen area must meet the high Marriott standards of cleanliness and comfort. The SpringHill Suites by Marriott BHAM Colonnade Grandview is a fine 120 All-Suite Hotel. Located immediately off Exit #19 on I-459 and Hwy #280, the hotel location makes an easy and simple presence and commute. A well-kept property, a positive location, good pay and benefits including free and safe parking makes this hotel a smart choice to consider working.
Essential Functions
Prepare simple breakfast foods and properly display and replenish for the hotel guests
Wear hotel uniform in compliance with hotel standards; adhere to professional grooming standards
Welcomes guests to the lobby- breakfast bar and provides fast and courteous service to ensure an enjoyable dining experience and repeat business
Set up the Complimentary breakfast each morning by following the Marriott Breakfast standards and guidelines
Clean up after the open breakfast hours of the kitchen, buffet and dining area
Consistently interact with the guests to provide a superior breakfast experience.
Communicate feedback to hotel management
Maintain Food Service quality and safety standards of Marriott and the State of Alabama
Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment that meets both County Health Codes and the Hotel Quality assurance requirements.
Promote the hotel by demonstrating high level of positive attitude and energy to serve our guests
Job Requirements:
Must have excellent customer service skills and a stable work history
Must be able to work entire 5 hour shift on feet at a quick pace
Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday mornings from 6-1030am
