Join our Amwins Brokerage team in Franklin as a Brokerage Assistant!

This position is internally titled Technical Assistant.

This position is in office, with the potential of a hybrid schedule of three days a week in office once training is complete.

None of our positions are commission based or involve cold calling.

Each Brokerage Assistant provides vital team functions:

  • General support for the marketing team
  • Handling of change requests including the processing of endorsements and invoicing
  • Processing quotes and binders
  • Checking policies for accuracy
  • Following up for underwriting items
  • Handling quarterly reports for various accounts
  • Procuring renewal solicitation letters
  • Populating renewals in the system and providing renewal lists to the team
  • Assist in accounting procedures and resolving late payment issues
  • Data entry into multiple internet-based systems

We are looking for people with:

  • At least one year of experience in an office environment
    • Insurance experience is plus but not a must!
  • Ability to prioritize important and pressing tasks
  • Innate organizational skills, willingness to take on challenges, and focus on personal responsibility
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft 365 proficiency with an emphasis in Excel spreadsheets
