Job Description

The Analyst Program is designed to introduce young professionals to the brokerage side of the commercial real estate industry by providing immediate learning opportunities. Stream's Analysts learn about day-to-day business functions and decision-making processes of either the tenant representation or landlord representation teams, as well as interfacing with all levels of management.  The Analyst Program will develop the three major competencies necessary for a successful career in commercial real estate: market knowledge, financial knowledge, and legal knowledge. These essential concepts require a solid foundation knowledge in order to be successful at Stream. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Attain knowledge in understanding the full spectrum of responsibilities and day-to-day tasks involved with project leasing, tenant representation, and general real estate 
  • Provide analytical and marketing support to the brokerage team 
  • Assist with market surveys, land and amenity maps, competitive sets, lease abstracts, property projects, research, data analytics and implementation, and prospect reports 
  • Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data to identify new business opportunities for the team 
  • Develop relationships in the real estate industry 
  • Participate in property tours and stacking plans for properties 
  • Coordinate tour packets and sales pitch materials 
  • Assist with special projects as needed 
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree  
  • Attention to detail and an organized work style  
  • Previous internship experience preferred  
  • Strong interpersonal skills  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Strong understanding of analytics and familiarity with financial concepts 
  • Demonstrated interest in the commercial real estate industry 
  • Track record of involvement on campus, preferably in a leadership position  
  • Proficient with MS Office & Excel 
  • Resourceful in nature and a creative problem solver 
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic work environment
