Brightline is expanding its pediatric clinical care model in Albany, NY. We are seeking a mission-driven Clinical Psychologist specializing in Evaluation & Testing to join our team full-time.
In this role, you will conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and diagnostic testing for youth up to age 18. You will serve as a regional specialist, providing the critical insights that shape treatment planning and improve family outcomes.
  • Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)
  • Schedule: Part-Time or Full-Time
  • Compensation: $130,000 - $145,000 + Benefits

What Makes This Role Unique:
  • True Hybrid Schedule: Balance your week with in the Albany clinic and working remotely (supporting virtual evaluations and feedback sessions depending on clinical appropriateness and family preference).
  • Clear Turnaround Windows: We are committed to thorough, high-quality clinical documentation, maintaining a structured 30-business-day timeline from evaluation completion to report delivery.
  • Service Line Development: You will have a direct hand in contributing to the growth and refinement of Brightline's evaluation and testing service line regionally.
  • Collaborative Environment: You won't operate in a silo. You will engage in regular peer consultation and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth diagnostic evaluations (clinical interviews, multi-informant data reviews, and differential diagnosis) to clarify presenting concerns for youth up to age 18.
  • Thoughtfully select, administer, and interpret test batteries for common youth concerns, including learning disorders, executive functioning needs, and autism spectrum disorders (including the ADOS-2).
  • Produce high-quality, family-friendly written reports that translate complex findings into practical recommendations.
  • Deliver clear family feedback sessions, providing actionable clinical guidance both in-person and virtually.

What We're Looking For:
  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Active, unrestricted license to practice at the doctoral level in the State of New York.
  • Extensive experience with pediatric psychological testing, test battery selection, and ASD-focused clinical interviews (ADOS-2 training required).
  • Comfort providing services across both in-person and remote modalities, including supporting evaluations remotely for other clinics as needed.
  • Experience with or training in digital administration of psychological tests where available.
  • Bilingual candidates (particularly Spanish-speaking) are strongly preferred.

Perks & Total Rewards:
  • Comprehensive Care: Medical, Dental, Vision, Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, FSA, and 401k.
  • Generous Time Off: 12 Company Holidays + Floating Holidays, a dedicated Holiday Shutdown, and Parental Leave.
  • Stipends & Reimbursements: Annual Health & Wellness stipend, Home Office reimbursement, and Professional Development reimbursement.

In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for applicants is $130,000 - $145,000.
