As a licensed mental health counselor at Brightline, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate client needs and create individualized treatment plans that promote emotional and psychological well-being.
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitating psychoeducational and support groups to foster community connections and address common mental health challenges faced by our clients.
• Collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Providing crisis intervention services to clients during mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Educating clients on various mental health conditions, effective treatment strategies, and community resources available to support recovery.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards.
• Participating in ongoing case consultations and professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in mental health therapy.

To be considered for the mental health counselor position, candidates must possess:

• A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and a strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Excellent assessment skills paired with the ability to develop effective, personalized treatment plans.
• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapeutic services to a wide range of populations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

While the basic qualifications are essential, additional consideration will be given to candidates who have:

• A master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field.
• Diverse clinical experience with various therapeutic approaches including DBT, EMDR, or trauma-informed care.
• A strong interest in ongoing education and professional development.
• Experience in a telehealth environment or using digital platforms for therapy.
