Your Purpose:
As the Bar Attendant for Brightline, you will be responsible for warmly welcoming guests and ensuring exceptional service. You will oversee the preparation and service of food and beverages at the bar. Additionally, you will champion food safety and sanitation protocols, assist with inventory management, and collaborate with the station manager to order necessary items for the operation. Pay Rate - $20.00 an hour plus tips
Your Role:
  • Welcome guests warmly: Genuinely greet guests with a warm smile and sincere interaction, engaging in conversation when appropriate and showing personalized, anticipatory service.

  • Respond to guest needs: Listen carefully to questions, requests, or complaints and address as many as possible in the moment, escalating to others when necessary.

  • Provide attentive service and recommend offerings: Deliver detailed service, use suggestive selling for menu and retail items, and share information about Company services and destinations.

  • Prepare and serve beverages and snacks: Follow Company standards when preparing and serving hot and cold beverages, snacks, wine, cocktails, and mixed drinks, including verifying proper identification for alcohol service.

  • Maintain product readiness and quality: Continually prepare and restock items, oversee self-service checkout, inspect product quality, and record accurate time and temperature logs.

  • Ensure cleanliness and safety: Clean service and work areas according to Company health and hygiene standards and ensure all areas are presentable and free of hazards.

  • Manage inventory and equipment: Review deliveries, store items appropriately, document inventory, ensure equipment is in working order for the next shift, and report maintenance issues promptly.

  • Communicate effectively: Share timely and accurate information with teammates to support smooth operations.

  • Complete end-of-shift duties: Compile and balance receipts, complete EOS reports, assist Station Managers with inventory, and provide guest-based feedback to food and beverage leaders.

  • Communication: Monitor and review all Brightline communication channels, including our company intranet, bConnected, during work hours to ensure all company and department communications and notifications are promptly reviewed.
