Brightline's Pricing and Revenue Management team plays a critical role in maximizing ticket revenue for every train along the Miami to Orlando corridor. As an Associate Analyst, Pricing at Brightline, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue through effective pricing controls. This role involves a blend of data analysis, strategic planning, and understanding market dynamics to ensure optimal pricing.

Your role at Brightline

• Analyze trendsin bookings, revenue, and market dynamics.
• Assess demand patternsand the competitive landscape to understand customer behavior and competitor strategies.
• Utilize demand forecaststo optimize revenue and ensure profitable pricing decisions.
• Ensuring fare integrity between our indirect and direct channels to maintain parity between the two different customer audiences
• Monitoring demand drivers along our corridor, such as special events, sports games, concerts, conventions, and boat shows.
• Plan seasonal strategiesfor holidays and peak travel periods to maximize revenue during high-demand times.
• Tracking market alternatives, such as tolls, gas, cost of a rental car,and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate closely with other departmentssuch as sales, marketing, and network planning to ensure alignment and implement effective pricing strategies.
• Run pricing reportsand identify areas for improvement.
• Recommend pricing changesbased on data analysis and demand forecasts.
• Prepare presentations and dashboardsto communicate key KPIs and results with leadership.
• Support the identification and research of business opportunitieswithin Pricing.

Required skills and qualifications

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, Spotfire, etc.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Thorough understanding of pricing fundamentals and strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Operations Research, or equivalent work experience.
• On-site four days a week in Miami, FL; remote on Fridays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior airline, rail, hotel, cruise, or other related experience preferred.
• Prior experience working with revenue management or pricing systems preferred.
