Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and understand specific symptoms.
  • Diagnose movement dysfunctions utilizing industry-accepted assessment techniques to create personalized treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on therapeutic exercise techniques and proper utilization of therapeutic tools to maximize their recovery.
  • Administer treatments such as manual therapy, stimulation, or massage to relieve pain and promote healing.
  • Guide patients in the appropriate use of mobility aids including wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring their safety and confidence.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatment goals, techniques, and outcomes.
  • Provide ongoing support and advice to patients and their families on home exercise programs and in-home treatment options.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes children, adults, and seniors facing a diverse range of physical challenges including but not limited to post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and mobility impairments. You will have the opportunity to work with patients recovering from sports injuries, surgeries, or those managing conditions such as arthritis and neurological disorders, tailoring therapies to their unique needs to facilitate comprehensive recovery.

Qualifications
  • A valid Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the team.
  • Proficient in utilizing electronic health records and other administrative systems to maintain patient information.
  • A high level of flexibility and agility to adapt to the changing needs of our patient population.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a clinical setting.
  • Experience working with a diverse array of patient demographics and conditions.
  • Previous experience in a rehabilitation facility setting is highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits
