In this full-time remote role, you will leverage your clinical expertise to provide comprehensive mental health services to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough psychosocial assessments, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to create and implement personalized treatment plans, and facilitating therapeutic sessions for individuals and families in need.

About the Organization

Bright Health Rehab and Counseling Center is a community health clinic located in the vibrant city of San Francisco, California. Our mission is to empower individuals and families to achieve mental wellness through compassionate care and tailored therapeutic interventions. With a focus on providing accessible mental health services, our team works tirelessly to support our diverse patient population, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Work Environment

This position offers a flexible remote work setting, allowing you to engage with clients in a way that best suits your schedule and lifestyle. As part of our digitally-enabled platform, you will have access to user-friendly tools to manage your cases efficiently. Our commitment to maintaining a HIPAA-compliant environment ensures that patient information remains secure while you provide top-tier care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, regularly modifying care plans to reflect changes in patient status.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with patientsโ€™ needs and goals.
  • Provide referrals to external services such as community resources, support groups, and treatment programs to enhance the well-being of patients.
  • Organize and prioritize daily responsibilities, ensuring that new, current, and discharging patients receive appropriate attention and care.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions to provide supportive counseling, crisis intervention, and bereavement care as needed.
  • Educate and advocate for patients and their families, ensuring they have a voice in their care and access to necessary resources.
  • Participate in discharge planning and follow-up to ensure continuity of care and effective transitions for patients.
  • Monitor and assess patient progress, intervening when necessary to adjust treatment approaches and improve outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse client population includes individuals from various cultural, socioeconomic, and age backgrounds, reflecting the multicultural spirit of San Francisco. You will work with clients facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role will be instrumental in helping these individuals develop coping strategies, enhancing their emotional resilience and overall quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Social Work or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Psychologist.
  • Strong knowledge of community mental health resources and the ability to navigate these systems for patient benefit.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • Demonstrated capacity to build rapport and trust with clients through empathetic engagement.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a community health or mental health clinic setting.
  • Knowledge of telehealth methodologies and virtual counseling practices.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems and data management.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, qualifying candidates may receive up to a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Benefits include flexible working hours, the elimination of overhead costs associated with private practice, and a streamlined process for managing client cases through our specialized application. You will also have the option to determine your caseload, allowing for extra income opportunities.
