Job description

Blooming Hill in Monroe, NY is looking for a dishwasher to join our restaurant and catering company team. We are located on Route 208 in Monroe at Blooming Hill Farm. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and not afraid of hard work. Full time is 40-50 hours per week with any hours over 40 paying time and a half. The days we work are Wednesday-Sunday and we are off Mondays and Tuesdays. Pay starts at 17.00 an hour, but could start higher for those with dishwashing and/or kitchen experience.

Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots or pans using dishwashers or by hand
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area
  • Follow health and safety guidelines in the kitchen
  • Sort and stack clean dishes; Carry clean dishes to proper storage areas
  • Do light food prep work as requested by the chefs


Desired Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as a dishwasher and/or kitchen worker
  • High integrity with a great attendance record & punctuality at previous jobs
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively with the team & take instruction from the chefs
  • Over 21 years of age
  • Have your own transportation
