Direct Care Staff with Residential Treatment Center RTC expereince required for Night and Day shift

Blooming Bridge LLC Mesquite, TX
Blooming Bridge LLC is looking for reliable and compassionate Direct Care Staff with Residential Treatment center experince to support youth in our Residential Treatment Center. This role is hands-on and plays a key part in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment for the children in our care.
Position Summary
Direct Care Staff are responsible for supervising residents, supporting daily routines, and helping implement behavior and treatment plans. Staff must be attentive, consistent, and able to redirect behaviors while ensuring safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide constant supervision of youth to ensure safety and compliance
  • Maintain line of-sight supervision at all times while on the floor
  • Implement behavior management strategies and follow treatment plans
  • Redirect negative behaviors and support de-escalation using approved techniques
  • Assist with daily routines (meals, hygiene, chores, school prep, activities)
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation, including shift notes and incident reports
  • Transport clients to school, appointments, and activities as needed
  • Maintain a structured, respectful, and professional environment
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience working with youth, behavioral health, or residential care preferred
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
  • Valid drivers license required
  • Must be dependable, patient, and able to work in a team environment
Preferred
  • CPI or crisis intervention training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience with trauma-informed care
Work Schedule
  • Full-time and part-time positions available
  • Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shiftt
Work Environment
  • Active, hands-on role
  • Requires standing, walking, and responding quickly to situations
  • Must be comfortable managing behavioral challenges in a professional manner
