Job Description

The first thing most people say when they walk into our store is "Wow! This store feels more like a boutique than a consignment store!" Our customers have come to deeply appreciate our upbeat, helpful, kind and welcoming atmosphere. We pride ourselves in keeping our sales floor clean, organized and smelling good. We strive to offer only top-quality goods and always a delightful, positive shopping experience to every single person who walks in our doors.

Our Front Sales Floor Team Members are the face of our business; therefore, it's of the utmost importance we build a team that embodies all of our core values and characteristics. We are looking for a team player, a "do-er", an "I can figure this out" kind of person. Someone who stays positive throughout an entire shift and especially gives friendly customer service. We can teach how to run a register and hang clothing, but it's nearly impossible to teach how to keep a positive attitude, take initiative and take pride in your work.

Duties

  • Run register using cash, card & store credit
  • Greet customers with a big smile & hello
  • Offer kind, genuine shopping assistance
  • Maintain our sales floor & dressing rooms by keeping clothing organized by type & size and nicely hung
  • Hanging newly priced goods
  • Creating & maintaining store displays
  • Becoming familiar with products, brands and resale prices
  • Greeting consignors at their appointments
  • Learn our consignment process
  • Manage consignment drop offs in the morning

Requirements

  • Able to work independently and take initiative as necessary, required
  • Able to problem-solve and troubleshoot independently, required
  • General keyboard skills, required
  • Comfortable using Google suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, etc), required
  • Comfortable navigating and researching the internet, required
  • Knowledge of fashion trends, brands and styles is helpful
  • Expected to learn our POS system
  • Can stand for long periods of time
  • Can lift over 25 pounds with confidence

Other important information

We need someone to be able to work these specific hours: 

June: Wed & Fri 2pm-6pm, Sun 10-4

July & August: Wed 2-6, Fri 10-4, Sat 10-4, Mon 2-6

-->Please do not apply if you cannot work these days. 

  • Starting $16 with opportunity for pay increases as new duties are learned and mastered
  • Store hours: Tue-Sat 10-6 & Sun 10-4 + 10-6 on Mondays in July & August
