This full-time, remote position allows for flexibility while you provide quality care to clients in an outpatient setting. This position is designed for a remote setting, allowing you to conduct sessions from the comfort of your home while maintaining high accessibility to clients. We embrace a team-oriented approach, necessitating regular communication and collaboration with other members of the clinical staff, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support personnel. Our outpatient office environment is rapidly growing, with an increasing demand for our services in Tualatin, Oregon, and beyond.

• Complete all clinical documentation and records promptly after or during each session to ensure accuracy and compliance with state regulations.
• Establish therapeutic rapport with clients and their families, assessing risk factors such as suicidality and potential threats to self or others to ensure safety.
• Facilitate the admission process smoothly for incoming patients, demonstrating professionalism and empathy during initial assessments.
• Actively contribute to team meetings to discuss treatment goals, progress, and care strategies, ensuring all team members are aligned in their approach.
• Conduct utilization reviews with insurance companies by providing comprehensive clinical details to secure authorizations required for treatment.
• Maintain communication with family members regarding treatment progress, and ensure timely responses to queries within 2 hours during working hours and 24 hours otherwise.
• Collaborate with referral sources and outpatient providers to ensure continuity of care, especially at key points like admission, midpoint evaluations, and discharge planning.
• Start discharge planning from day one, facilitating transition sessions that focus on coping skills and resources, ensuring that clients are equipped for their next steps.
• Effectively manage crises within sessions, providing support to milieu staff and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for all clients.

You will be working with a diverse array of patients, each facing unique mental health challenges. Our clients often range from those dealing with anxiety and depression to individuals undergoing severe crises or transitions in their lives. Your role will involve showcasing cultural competency and adaptability to approach each individual uniquely, while fostering inclusivity and respect.

• A current independent license in mental health counseling, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC, is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field is necessary, along with a master's or doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records and efficient email communication skills to streamline client interactions.

• Experience managing a large caseload effectively and fostering communication with large provider networks and support staff.
• A demonstrated passion for influencing lives positively and advancing behavioral healthcare.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 – 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
