Job description

Do you love creating meaningful moments and bringing joy to others? Bridgewater is seeking a part-time Life Enrichment/Activities Assistant to support engaging and purposeful activities for our residents during the weekends. You'll have a set, reliable weekend schedule working 9:00 am - 5:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent weekend hours while making a real difference in a senior living community.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with and lead life enrichment activities, events, and programs within the community
  • Encourage resident participation and foster positive, supportive relationships
  • Help facilitate group activities such as games, crafts, music, exercise, and social events
  • Provide one-on-one engagement based on resident interests and abilities
  • Support weekend events, special programs, and celebrations
  • Set up, clean up, and organize activity spaces and supplies
  • Work closely with the Life Enrichment team to enhance resident quality of life

What We're Looking For

  • A friendly, compassionate, and engaging personality
  • Passion for working with seniors and creating meaningful experiences
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and punctual with the ability to work every Saturday and Sunday
  • Creativity, flexibility, and a positive attitude
  • Previous experience in senior living, activities, recreation, or caregiving is a plus-but not required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record to be able to safely operate the company van

  • Competitive pay of $20/hour (based on experience)
