Job Description
DCS Asset Maintenance is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Bridge Technician with a great attitude and strong ethics. He or she will be responsible for performing the overall maintenance of the bridge maintenance project assigned.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
  • May operate various forms of heavy highway equipment.
  • Concrete spill repair.
  • Railing repairs.
  • Joint repairs.
  • Cleaning and painting steel.
  • Utilize Equipment to clean and grades ditches, drainage structures, highway road shoulders, and slopes.
  • Repair work including, but not limited to, repair of fences, sign repair, litter debris removal, and other bridge maintenance activities to include emergency response.
  • Use all equipment safely.
  • Advanced MOT training.

Qualifications
Education:
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
  • Class A or B cdl is preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age older.
  • Must have at least one year of experience on the roadway.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with at least 3 years of clean driving.
  • Must be able to drag 50lbs for 150 feet.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly.
  • Must be able to drive standard shift vehicles.
  • Must have the ability to obtain ATSSA certification in the installation of traffic control.
  • Bridge maintenance, highway maintenance or construction skills are preferred.
  • Boating experience is preferred.
