Position: Toll Bridge Operator 2nd Shift 2pm-10pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Toll Bridge Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting tolls from drivers and ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic on the bridge. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of toll transactions and providing excellent customer service to bridge users.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect tolls from drivers using the bridge and provide accurate change as needed

- Monitor traffic flow and ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicles on the bridge

- Maintain accurate records of toll transactions and reconcile cash and credit card payments at the end of each shift

- Provide excellent customer service to bridge users and respond to any inquiries or concerns in a professional and timely manner

- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks on toll equipment and report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the bridge

- Assist with training new toll bridge operators as needed

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and address any issues or concerns that may arise

- Maintain a clean and organized toll booth area at all times

- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in customer service or cash handling preferred
