Job description

Ready to hit the road and take your career to new destinations? We're hiring professional CDL Class A Drivers to join our team at the Landscape Distribution Center!
OPEN HOUSE: We invite all those interested in onsite interviews to our open house on February 27th from 9:00am-1:00pm EST time at Brehob Nurseries at 4316 Bluff Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46217.
Please remember to submit your application before attending on February 27th and bring your resume if applicable to the open house.
Other potential positions will include:
  • Crew Leaders
  • Yard Sales Crew Members
  • Crew Members - Operations
  • CDL Class A Driver
  • Operations Foreman

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations, commercial driver's license rules and regulations
  • Experience of Single and Tandem Axle Day Cab, Straight Truck, Dump Truck, Flat bed, End Dump, Forklift, Strapping and Tarping
  • Genuine care to courteously interact with customers and general public on a daily basis
  • Strong attention and compliance rate to all safety operating practices
  • Ability to work in a physical labor position in indoor/outdoor environments

Minimum qualifications:
  • Required: Valid Commercial Missouri Driver's License, Class A
  • Required: Medical Examiner's Certificate - As required by the Department of Transportation
  • Required: Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Required: Minimum of one-year verifiable CDL driving experience or a certificate of completion from an accredited truck driving school
  • Required: Must be able to meet criteria for safety sensitive functions according to DOT and Company standards
  • Highly Preferred: Manual driving experience
  • Highly Preferred: Working experience in plant industry or related fields, landscaping, garden centers, and/or nurseries
