Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Imaging Managerto our Diagnostic Imaging Department at theHill Breast Center. This Imaging Manager will oversee breast imaging operations while supporting mammography services across the Baptist Health system. This is afull-time, daysopportunity workingMonday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, and as needed based on department needs.
As the Imaging Manager at Baptist, you will not be patient-facing. Your primary focus will be leading a high-performing breast imaging team by overseeing daily operations, staff scheduling, budgeting, quality initiatives, and collaborating closely with modality leads, radiologists, and system leadership.
The Medical Imaging Manager will be responsible for:
  • Working under the direction of the Director.
  • Performing administrative and supervisory duties within the department.
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of departmental budgets.
  • Leading recruitment, retention, mentoring, and performance management of a team of approximately48 direct reports, including Mammography Technologists, Breast Ultrasound Technologists, Patient Access Specialists, and Medical Assistants.
  • Managing staff scheduling, timekeeping, payroll approvals, and attendance.
  • Addressing and escalating imaging workflow and image processing concerns.
  • Supporting quality assurance and quality control initiatives for breast imaging equipment across the Baptist Health system.
  • Overseeing mammography equipment operations across10 locations with 21 mammography units.
  • Managing the Baptist HealthMobile Mammography ("Buddy Bus")program.
  • Fostering a collaborative, team-oriented culture while partnering closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary leaders.
Experience:
  • 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience required.
  • Experience working in a hospital or outpatient imaging setting.
  • Budgeting and operational management experience.
  • Strong customer service and employee engagement skills.
  • Breast imaging experience is required.
  • Experience collaborating with radiologists and leading multidisciplinary teams preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to de-escalate situations, mentor team members, and promote collaboration.
Licenses and Certifications:
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) RequiredOR
  • Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine ARRT (N) RequiredOR
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT RequiredOR
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) RequiredOR

Preferred Certifications:
