Job description

We are looking for a talented Brand Strategy and Marketing Manager to join our team specializing in brand perception shaping for Cummins Inc. in Indianapolis, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Drive effective, multichannel marketing campaigns that increase visibility and engagement across digital, social, email, and traditional platforms.

  • Strengthen collaboration with sales, product, and creative teams to ensure unified, high impact execution of marketing initiatives. 
  • Protect and elevate Cummins' brand identity by ensuring consistency and quality across all marketing materials and touchpoints. 
  • Deliver memorable virtual and in-person events that deepen audience connection to the Cummins brand and enhance overall experience. 
  • Use data-driven insights to monitor campaign performance and optimize strategies for greater reach, efficiency, and ROI. 
  • Manage budgets, resources, and risks effectively to ensure marketing operations run efficiently and remain financially sound. 
  • Lead digital marketing innovation by championing new tools, trends, and strategies that strengthen Cummins' digital presence and performance.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

College, university, or equivalent degree in marketing or a related subject required.

Experience:

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement successful marketing campaigns.

Additional Responsibilities:

Responsibilities unique to the role

  • Lead the translation of brand and business strategy into integrated, omnichannel campaigns by setting strategic intent, shaping the execution approach, and guiding delivery to shift perception and support highstakes commercial decisions
  • Partner closely with the Global Brand Leader and senior stakeholders to develop brand valuation models, naming and positioning strategies, scenario analysis, and global tradeoff assessments that inform M&A, ventures, and longrange strategic planning
  • Design and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, effectiveness, and responsiveness across global, crossfunctional teams, balancing adaptability with disciplined execution

  • Strong systems thinker with the ability to connect brand, business strategy, and market context in evolving environments, and translate those connections into actionable plans

  • Demonstrated experience concepting strong ideas, producing highquality deliverables, and managing agencies and stakeholder inputs across complex engagements
