Responsibilities 


Brand Strategy

Brand position development and stewardship 

Brand visual identity development and stewardship

Brand awareness tracking

Brand Ambassador strategy and relationship management


Business Management

Global brand performance analysis and KPI reporting

Participate in annual global brand strategic planning and budget process 

Budget management

Responsible for Trademark management, including trademark registration for new products and ongoing trademark renewals


Product Strategy & Management

  Responsible for developing 3-year product roadmap: collaborate with Innovation team to plan introduction of new innovation products, plan timing of label design / packaging updates, new size introductions, packets, ingredient updates, display development, bonus sizes

SKU management / rationalization

Responsible for global pricing strategy

NPD Program Management

        Non-Innovation NPD

               Drive new product through the development process, ensuring all key milestones                are achieved

               Monthly tracking and reporting of NPD sales performance

        Drive Innovation Launch

               On time delivery of the GTM Package

               Claims / USP identification

               Monthly tracking and reporting of NPD sales performance

Manage free goods

Manage sample program

        Determine which products will have samples created and quantities

        Own the sample process, seeing it through from planning/forecasting to production         completion

        Own approval of sample usage and responsible for tracking sample inventory 

Brand Marketing

Sponsorships and Donations

        Determine what sponsorship and donation opportunities the brand will participate in

        Manage budget

        Manage sponsorship and donation partner relationships

        Communicate sponsorship and donation activity via content calendar and drive comms         opportunities with channel owners (make sure we talk about it to get the brand equity)


Retail / OTC Marketing

Develop and project manage execution of global retail marketing programs

Line review pitch deck development and presentation and drive mockup creation

Global retailer events: investment strategy, footprint strategy

Regular in-store visits to understand brand and product sets

Drive development of OTC marketing materials to ensure brand alignment

Trade publication advertising

Requirements


Qualifications

5-10 years Marketing experience

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field

Former CPG experience preferred 

Beauty/ Multicultural experience preferred 

Ability to work in an ambiguous and dynamic work environment

Able to roll up their sleeves and get the job done while processes are not clear or being revamped 

Demonstrates excellence in communication, analytical and project management

Excellent presentation skills and proficiency in PowerPoint/ Office Suite 

Can effectively build relationships and influence senior levels in the organization across regions and functions

Drive for results, able to influence and accomplish tasks through formal and informal channels
