Job description

Job Title: Brand Manager – Food & Beverage (Confidential Search)

About This Opportunity

We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a growing, entrepreneurial CPG food company. Our client builds brands consumers genuinely love — and they give their people real ownership to make it happen.

This is not a slow-moving corporate environment. They launch products, test ideas, and move fast. If you want a role where your work actually sees the light of day, this is it.

Our client's identity will be shared with qualified candidates at the appropriate stage of the process.

The Role

We are seeking a Brand Manager to lead growth across a portfolio of culturally-rooted food brands. This highly visible role blends brand strategy, innovation, portfolio management, consumer insights, and commercial execution.

The ideal candidate is equal parts marketer and business thinker — someone who loves identifying opportunities, bringing ideas to life, and driving results cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

Brand Strategy

  • Own brand positioning, strategic narrative, and long-term brand health initiatives
  • Drive marketing communications across packaging, digital assets, and creative campaigns
  • Manage marketing budgets and guide investment allocation decisions

Product & Portfolio Management

  • Lead innovation from concept through commercialization and sell-in
  • Manage SKU rationalization and identify whitespace and line extension opportunities
  • Drive forecasting, pricing analysis, and launch planning
  • Develop sales materials and customer presentations

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, R&D, Finance, and agency partners
  • Drive accountability and momentum across initiatives
  • Present recommendations to senior leadership with clarity and confidence

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in brand management, innovation, or CPG marketing
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA a plus
  • Experience with syndicated data tools (Nielsen, Circana/SPINS, Numerator) preferred
  • CPG experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in culturally-inspired or ethnic food categories a plus
  • Bilingual proficiency a plus

Why Apply

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role at a company where brand builders are valued and empowered. If you are passionate about food, consumer trends, and building brands with purpose, we want to hear from you.

All inquiries are handled with complete confidentiality.
