Job Summary:

The International Business Analyst serves as a strategic business partner to the International Leadership Team, supporting the continued growth and performance of Church's Texas Chicken/Texas Chicken across global markets. This role is responsible for conducting complex business analysis, developing actionable insights, and providing recommendations that influence strategic and operational decision-making across the International business.

The International Business Analyst independently evaluates business performance, identifies opportunities to improve profitability and operational effectiveness, and supports the development and execution of key growth initiatives. Areas of focus include franchise profitability, operational efficiency, pricing and menu strategy, sales and traffic generation, and cost optimization. Through analysis of financial, operational, and market data, this role provides recommendations that help shape business priorities and drive measurable results.

In addition, this position is responsible for administering, optimizing, and enhancing key business systems and reporting platforms used by the International team, including Monday.com, Smartsheet, and other financial and operational tools. The role applies technical expertise and business judgment to improve data integrity, reporting capabilities, process efficiency, and decision-support resources across the organization.

The International Business Analyst collaborates with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to identify business opportunities, develop solutions, and support the successful execution of strategic objectives throughout the International business.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

  • Analyze business performance across international markets and identify opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency, sales, and growth.
  • Conduct financial, operational, and business analyses and provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Synthesize data from multiple sources to develop actionable insights, forecasts, dashboards, and performance reports.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support and execute key business initiatives and growth strategies.
  • Establish and maintain data governance standards, reporting processes, and analytical frameworks.
  • Manage and optimize business systems and tools, including Monday.com, Smartsheet, and other operational and financial platforms.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and special projects to support business priorities and executive decision-making.
  • Independently evaluate information, develop recommendations, and prioritize work to achieve business objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements (Education, Qualifications, Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field. Master's degree in Business Analytics preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Access, Alteryx, etc.), visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and presentation tools (PowerPoint, Thinkcell, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of structured query language (SQL), Python or R to access and manipulate raw data.
  • Experience with Monday.com and Smartsheets a plus.
  • Ability to synthesize complex and disparate data into actionable insights and analysis.
  • Proactive in building new capabilities and system processes
  • Ability to foster and build strong relationships across functions in the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
