Job description

The Associate Analyst, Marketing - Brand Activation & Influencer Marketing supports the execution and operational management of influencer, activation, social, and PR initiatives. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies to help bring campaigns to life, ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget, and facilitate effective cross-functional communication. 

This position is best suited for an early-career marketing professional who is highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to build expertise across brand activation, influencer marketing, social strategy, and communications. 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field preferred. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant internship or professional experience in marketing, social media, communications, influencer marketing, or brand activation. 
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools. 
  • Interest in influencer marketing, social media, brand strategy, and communications. 

Salary Range: $72,200 to $76,500 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Brand Activation & Influencer Marketing (70%) 

Agency & Administrative Support 

  • Develop a strong understanding of agency relationships, roles, processes, and ways of working. 
  • Attend recurring agency and project status meetings, capture detailed notes, and distribute clear action-oriented recaps. 
  • Maintain organized documentation related to activation and influencer initiatives. 
  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, approvals, and communication across internal and external partners. 

Budget & Financial Coordination 

  • Support all budget and accounting processes related to influencer and brand activation programs. 
  • Open purchase orders (POs), process invoices, and assist with accrual tracking. 
  • Maintain budget trackers and support reconciliation efforts. 
  • Build foundational knowledge of master budgets and financial planning processes. 

Influencer Marketing Support 

  • Support execution of influencer marketing programs and ongoing influencer initiatives. 
  • Assist with influencer-related projects including campaign support, cultural trend tracking, calendar management, responsive opportunities, and branded merchandise/apparel coordination. 
  • Coordinate legal reviews and approval workflows for influencer content and partnerships. 
  • Support annual planning processes and scope-of-work renewals with agency partners. 
  • Assist in preparing campaign reports, recaps, and performance summaries. 
  • Provide timely feedback and direction to agency partners under guidance from leadership. 

Brand Activation Support 

  • Assist in the execution of integrated brand activation initiatives. 
  • Support campaign planning, activation calendars, reporting, and recap development. 
  • Coordinate approval processes, legal reviews, and project timelines. 
  • Help manage agency deliverables and facilitate communication between stakeholders. 
  • Contribute to yearly planning efforts and ongoing activation support. 

Social Media Collaboration (20%) 

  • Partner with Social and Social Care teams to support the rollout of brand activation content across organic social channels. 
  • Help identify campaign KPIs and success metrics aligned with activation objectives. 
  • Coordinate with Social and Media teams to integrate influencer content into paid and organic social strategies. 
  • Serve as a liaison between influencer, social, and social care teams to ensure alignment and visibility. 
  • Flag engagement opportunities and support potential content extensions across social platforms. 

PR & Communications Support (10%) 

  • Support collaboration processes between Brand Activation, PR, Communications, and partner teams. 
  • Assist with approval workflows for external messaging and franchisee communications. 
  • Build working knowledge of public relations and communications functions, including: 
  • Crisis communications 
  • Internal communications 
  • External communications 
  • Coordinate communication materials, approvals, and stakeholder feedback as needed.
