Job description

The Automotive Parts Driver is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery and pickup of automotive parts between multiple dealership locations, wholesale customers, and vendors. This role supports daily operations of the Parts Department by ensuring inventory is delivered efficiently while providing excellent customer service and representing the dealership in a professional manner.
JOB TITLE:Parts Driver
REPORTS TO: Service Manager
LOCATION: Loveland, OH
A SHORT LIST OF YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver automotive parts to dealership locations, collision centers, and external customers in a timely and accurate manner
  • Pick up parts, returns, cores, and supplies from vendors and other dealership locations
  • Verify parts against delivery invoices to ensure order accuracy
  • Load and unload parts safely, securing items to prevent damage
  • Maintain delivery logs, invoices, and required documentation
  • Communicate delivery status, delays, or discrepancies to the Parts Department
  • Assist with stocking, organizing, and inventory control as needed
  • Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
  • Keep delivery vehicles clean, fueled, and in proper working order
  • Follow all traffic laws, dealership policies, and safety procedures
  • Provide courteous and professional service to customers and team members

WE'RE LOOKING FOR A SELF-STARTER WHO MEETS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to operate delivery vehicles (vans, small trucks, or similar)
  • Knowledge of local routes and ability to navigate multiple locations efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move parts weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
  • Basic computer or handheld device skills preferred
  • Prior automotive or parts department experience a plus, but not required
  • Frequent driving and exposure to varying weather conditions
  • Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching throughout the shift
  • Interaction with dealership staff, vendors, and customers
