Trail Drive Management Corp. - Dickies Arena of Fort Worth, TX
Job Summary:
Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is looking for a full-time Box Office Manager. This position will share responsibility for maintaining strong relationships with promoters and tour representatives, as well as with venue management and staff. The Box Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the ticket office runs efficiently through proper training, event management, leadership, and oversight of day-to-day functions.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Own the development and management of a ticketed event from start to finish. Building the manifest in TM Host from a CAD diagram, building the event in EMT, building and scheduling all presale and on-sale offers, and running reports and settling the show on event night.
  • Responsible for the box office daily financial reporting across all lines of revenue through the ticketing system and reconciliation of all Arena and Premium ticket sales. Create checks and balances to ensure the accuracy of event builds, presales/on-sales, and internal and external reporting.
  • Work in collaboration with the Ticketing company and other leaders under TDMC to drive revenue through innovation and utilization of the software capabilities.
  • Oversee inventory management from on-sale through event settlement and post-event financial reconciliation.
  • Set up and manage Suite and Premium ticket events on the ticketing system, developing excellent relations with the Premium sales team, and assisting with Premium Sales and Financial reporting.
  • Work with the Director of Marketing, the Director of Finance, and the Event Managers to create the seating manifest for events and build ticketing and marketing initiatives for events.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Box office, including communication between the Ticketing company, communication with TDMC department leads, and the management of the box office staff, including the full-time and part-time labor force.
  • Exercise general supervision over part-time staff assigned to the department.
  • Establish excellent working relations with concert promoters, other internal departments, and the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of Ticketing or box office operations, ticketing software, and management/supervisory experience in an arena, stadium, or public assembly facility
  • Advanced-level user knowledge of ticketing systems, policies, and procedures, including event management and bar-coding systems.
  • Knowledge of Ticketmaster and associated products, including but not limited to Archtics, HOST, TM1, Presence, and EMT.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Responds quickly and effectively to changing trends and circumstances; embraces change and welcomes fresh perspectives; learns from past mistakes and adjusts accordingly
  • Strong math aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated sound organizational and personal interface skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including - nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to communicate effectively with management, guests, and team members.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Working Conditions:
  • Employees must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs.
  • Employees will spend the majority of their shift sitting and working on a computer.
  • Employees may be asked to spend a portion of their shift standing/walking, traveling stairs, with limited or no sitting.
  • Employees may be exposed to high noise levels and/or fluctuating lights in event settings.
  • Employees must have the ability to reach, lift, and bend to perform job duties throughout the shift.
