Job description

Hilco Vision's portfolio includes Prescription Safety, Lens care, Eyewear Accessories, Lab & Dispensing Products, Dry Eye Solutions, Vision Testing Equipment, Pharmaceuticals, and Diagnostic Exam & Surgical Supplies.
Hilco Vision is currently searching for a Bottling Line Operator to join the team! The Bottling Line Operator is responsible for loading bottles into a loader, and following the bottles down the production line, making torque adjustments as needed, packing them, and checking quality in accordance with Hilco Vision's quality standards.
This role is on first shift ; 2:30pm-11pm, we pay weekly.
This role requires the ability to lift 20lbs, stand for long periods of time, and complete repetitive motions.

Qualifications:
  • Carefully adhere to all organizational safety practices including following appropriate procedures, as well as the proper wearing of required PPE in designated areas
  • Attention to detail and processes in order to reach a common goal of producing a great product for all customers.
  • Read, write, speak and understand English, as well as understand basic math.
  • Able to learn new processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Load empty bottles in to bottle loader and checking the line as you go to ensure bottles are feeding appropriately to be filled
  • Place pumps into bottles containing cleaning solution while keeping the production line up and running, and keeping up with the productivity goals for each line
  • Measure torque for each bottle and record readings for each order run; torque measurements will vary depending on the size of the bottle
  • Inspect product as it runs through the line from beginning to end; from where labels are put on bottles to just before the product is brought to shipping
  • Pack each order in to order-specific boxes to prepare for shipment

Physical Requirements:
  • This role requires the ability to lift 40lbs and stand for long periods of time.

Incentive plan:
  • Attendance-Employee must have worked 85% (148 hours) of the working days in a given month for the home department earning the incentive.
  • Productivity- Must have efficiency more than 85% minimum for the month.
  • Violations- If an employee receives a write up due to a policy violation or quality issue, they will not be eligible for the incentive for that month.
  • Employment- Must be a full time Hilco employee for more than 30 days. The employee must be actively employed on the date of the incentive payout to receive it.
