Machine Operator - Saturday and Sunday Only
Job Summary
Our Client in American Canyon is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team! The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment used in the manufacturing and application of wine bottle tops (closures). This role ensures efficient production, consistent quality, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate capping, lining, threading, or assembly machines used in wine bottle top production
  • Monitor machine performance, material flow, and product quality during production runs
  • Perform routine inspections, adjustments, and minor troubleshooting to maintain efficiency
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure caps meet specifications for fit, seal, and appearance
  • Load raw materials and remove finished product according to production schedules
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with food-grade and safety standards
  • Accurately complete production logs, quality records, and downtime reports
  • Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements
  • Communicate issues to maintenance or supervisors promptly to minimize downtime

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous machine operation experience in manufacturing, bottling, or packaging preferred
  • Experience in food, beverage, or wine production is a plus
